Carla Reeves, Santa Barbara Realtor®

We specialize on fine homes and estates in the Montecito, Hope Ranch and surrounding Santa Barbara Area.

As a successful Santa Barbara Realtor for more than 30 years, I have taken great pleasure in helping Buyers and Sellers make their real estate dreams come true! From condos to castles, duplexes and ranches to State Street buildings, I know the territory. I love our beautiful communities and delight in sharing information about our wonderful Santa Barbara lifestyle.

Born in Germany and raised in the Netherlands, I attended an all girls’ High School and Jr. College in Canada. After immigrating with my family to the US and Santa Barbara, I attended SB Business College and SB City College. During my short stint as a Flight Attendant for United Airlines I was based out of San Francisco. My introduction to the wonderful business of Real Estate was as Executive Assistant to Santa Barbara’s first M.A.I. Real Estate Appraiser. Our firm was assigned to assess the economic loss to the City from the Union Oil spill in our Channel. Then six years as Administration VP of a Real Estate/Development Company based out of SB with offices in the Bay area and Ventura County.

My social, civic and personal interests include volunteering with Assistance League of Santa Barbara, CALM, The Teacher’s Fund, the Santa Barbara Association of Realtors along with numerous other Santa Barbara non-profits. Through the years I have served on many Committees and Boards in these organizations. Currently I serve as Chair on the non-profit Mastick Family Foundation.

My wonderful husband of 40 years, Doug Reeves, and I enjoyed working together with organizations which support local youth. We mentored and housed collegiate athletes who came to play summer baseball with the Santa Barbara Forester organization. Doug and I loved traveling, camping, skiing and fishing with our son, Jon who now lives in Montana. A recent trip to Costa Rica with a group of Village Associates to view the beautiful properties for sale included some daring do zip-lining and river rafting.

My bragging rights include numerous awards from my peers at the Santa Barbara Association of Realtors, along with being awarded the Santa Barbara News-Press Readers’ Choice Award as Realtor of the Year. I’m the happy recipient of much repeat business and referrals from my wonderful clients, many whom have become my friends. And … a sky-dive for a milestone birthday.

I am fluent in Patience, Kindness, Detail, Negotiation Skills, Real Estate, English and Customer Care. My somewhat rusty bi-lingual skills include conversational Dutch and ein bischen Deutsch. Consider me your Santa Barbara Concierge because I truly know the territory.
